Sound and Light Show on Parliament
Northern Lights is the new Sound and Light Show on Parliament Hill. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Parliament Buildings, this 30-minute show takes the audience on an unforgettable journey of sound and light through Canada’s history. The new Northern Lights follows on the success of the previous Sound and Light Show – Mosaika: Canada through the eyes of its people – which was seen by more than 1.1 million people and garnered 13 national and international awards. Mosaika was also twice named one of the top 100 festivals and events in Ontario.
Camp Fortune Aerial Experience

(You need to make a reservation, so you’ll need to call.) This is such an awesome family activity in the Ottawa region, but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart – super high platforms fun and fast zip lines! :)

The Parliament Buildings and other Historic Sites and Monuments
My son and I have always loved the tour inside Ottawa’s Parliament Buildings as well as just walking around them, buying a hot dog from the vendor directly across the street from the Peace Tower is a must!
Ottawa City Sightseeing Tours
You can tour Ottawa so many different ways – everything from an open air double-decker bus, to a boat cruise on either the Rideau Canal or the Ottawa River, to bicycle rentals along the canal.
