Seeing and capturing the city, and beyond (6 hrs)

Comb the downtown area of the city, while stopping to take in the sights, and then leave the core to visit some of its unique outlying areas and neighbourhoods!

On this extensive full day photowalk, besides exploring the well known landmarks covered in our signature photowalk, some of our visits will include the surrounding areas bordering the Canadian War Museum, the Museum of History and Rideau Hall, with stops in Gatineau and the chance to experience panoramic views of the city. Beyond these areas, you will experience our waterways, parkways and nature paths. We will also visit unique neighbourhoods such as the Glebe, Hintonburg and Manotick.

Along the way, we will talk about composition, lighting and unique angles. We will also explore photography from a non-technical perspective, discussing the concept of “open mind, open heart and open eyes”. There will be a lunch break at a local, favourite café/restaurant where we will have an opportunity to chat and answer questions. The photowalk will finish with a snack/refreshment at a café/establishment where you can share and discuss your captures and receive some loveOttawa photo editing tips.

You’ll take home not only visual memories of the day, but also the experience of having captured the inside and the outside of our city!
